MUSEUM AND PARK PASS BORROWING POLICY
The Woodward Memorial Library has the following passes available for circulation:
2 Genesee Country Village & Museum passes,
2 Rochester Museum & Science Center passes,
2 Rochester Memorial Art Gallery passes,
2 Aquarium of Niagara pass,
2 Corning Museum of Glass passes,
4 NYS Empire Passes
Borrowers must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Nioga Library card.
One pass per person/family at a time.
Patron/family may have one museum pass and one empire pass at the same time.
Passes must be checked out at and returned to WML. Passes must be returned inside to the circulation desk.
Passes cannot be returned in the book drop and cannot be returned to other libraries in the Nioga system.
Passes may not be put on hold.
The Rochester Museum and Science Center pass, the Genesee Country Village and Museum pass, the Memorial Art Gallery pass, the Aquarium of Niagara pass, and the Corning Museum of Glass pass may be checked out for 3 days and cannot be renewed. If a Pass is lost or damaged beyond use there is a $40 replacement fee.
The Empire Pass may be checked out for 7 days and cannot be renewed. If a Pass is lost or damaged beyond use there is a $40 replacement fee.
Passes cannot be returned and checked out by the same patron/family on the same day.
The Empire Pass allows free admission to many parks in the state.
The Genesee Country Village & Museum Pass allows free admission to the museum during the season for two adults and all dependent children/grandchildren 18 years old and younger.
The Rochester Museum & Science Center allows free admission for two adults plus any children under 18 in their household to the RMSC in Rochester, the Cumming Nature Center in Naples, and free or discounted admission to shows at the Strasenburgh Planetarium.
The Corning Museum of Glass allows for one adult entrance per pass (two passes come in the pouch that is checked out). Children under 17 are always free.
The Aquarium of Niagara pass gives free entry to the Aquarium of Niagara and Great Lakes 360 for 2 adults and up to 6 children under age 18. It also provides free parking at the Aquarium of Niagara.
The Memorial Art Gallery pass gives free entry to two adults and any children/grandchildren under 18 years old. Pass restriction: not valid for surcharged exhibitions, Clothesline Festival, opening parties, MAGsocial, or other special events.
How to check out a pass:
§ Ask for the pass you would like at the circulation desk on the main floor of the Library.
§ If one is available, you can check it out just like you would any other item at the Library.
§ The pass will come in a zipper pouch with a lanyard and needs to be returned in the same pouch it was checked out in.
