Now that you are in the catalog, you can...
 
bulletSearch the Library's Catalog
bulletYou will start out at the Basic search screen.  Use the menu to select the type of search you want to do, then type in the search box.
bulletYou can also do a more advanced search with limiting features by clicking on the Advanced link.
bulletOnce you have your list of search results, items owned by Woodward Memorial Library will be noted as such.  It will say "Location" - Woodward Memorial Library.
 
bulletPlace A Hold
bulletAfter completing the steps listed above in "Search the library's catalog," you can now place a hold on an item by clicking on the Request Item button.
bulletIf the item can be placed on hold, you will be prompted to enter the barcode (Borrower ID) from your library card.  After you type in your number, click on the Login button.  Note:  If the item cannot be placed on hold or you need to resolve something--fines, overdues, etc.--on your library record before you can place a hold, you will see a message stating so.
bulletOn the Request Confirmation screen, make sure that Woodward Memorial Library is selected as the location to pick up the material, then click on the Request button.
 
bulletCheck Your Library Record
bulletClick on My Library Card.
bulletEnter the barcode (Borrower ID) from your library card and click on the Login button.
bulletYou will see your name (Welcome Doe, John) in the upper right portion of the screen.
bulletYou will also see an overview of your Items Out, Hold Requests, Blocks, and Profile.  Click on any of these links to get to more detailed information.
 
bulletRenew Items You Have Checked Out
bulletGo into your library record as described above in "Check your library record."
bulletClick on Items Out.
bulletFrom the list of items that you currently have checked out, click in the box next to any item(s) and then on the Renew button.
bulletIf the item can be renewed, you will note that the due date has changed. (Note: Items can be renewed once.)
bulletIf the item cannot be renewed, you will see a message stating so.  (Note: Items that are on hold and new items cannot be renewed; please call the Library for assistance.)
